I am an interior designer in New York City and my top priorities for a vacation rental are cleanliness, style and gorgeous settings. The Villa is, by far, one of the loveliest places we have stayed. The house is very clean and the owner, Yvette, does a wonderful job adding decorative touches that help personalize our stay. She also arranged for a taxi to take us to the Villa from Parikia Port where our ferry landed and greeted us upon our arrival. The property is drop dead gorgeous – no pictures or words can do it justice, although I am submitting a few of our photos. The house is located about 10-15 minutes from town but it is on a hill so you would be best served renting a car. We rented our car from Polos Cars and I highly recommend them. They delivered the car to our villa free of charge and it was the easiest car rental transaction we ever encountered. We (my husband and two teenage daughters) would drive into town each evening around 6. Parking is easy to find at that hour and you will want to walk around the shops that wind around the white washed alleys behind the main street before you have dinner. Renting a car also allows you to view the island at your leisure. Paros has some of the most gorgeous beaches…Golden Beach was our favorite. Of course, you can always walk down the stone path from the backyard of the villa and go for a swim there! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer…only 3 days. Next time we stay at Cyclades Blue Villa , it will be for at least a week.
